Valencia National & International Dog Shows
They were the last dog shows for this year and we went with 3 dogs. Both days we had specialist judges : on Saturday from Sweden  Eva Nielsen and on Sunday from Portugal Rui Goncalves.
On Saturday with 4 Springer entried Dugy won Best Of Breed and for first time she was behind his father. Molly was Best Young of Breed and also in Puppy Class there was the little Its Otto who took both days the best qualification, I'm very happy to see him as handsome and happy.
On Sunday with 6 Springers entried  Humphrey was Best of Breed and with this CACIB he finnishs his International Championchip. He is our fifth International Champion breeded at home. Dugy was Best Bitch

Confirmed  Fanny's pregnancy, we wait a small litter similar to the last one

It was the Copa del Rey de Caza Práctica CACIT.
In the wondeful land of Metrida 38 Spaniels were judged by Mr. Francisco Pérez Álvarez & Mr. Antonio Collantes Yllera with a big entry from France and unfortunatelly only two Spaniel's breeds: Cockers (9) & Springers (29).
We went with 4 Springers and we are more than happy with the results:

Hexe didn't find hunt any of both days but she did the water test for this season. It's a pitty but as on Saturday were qualified 9 Springers and on Sunday 12 we were in good company with our "not qualified".

We have a guest from Sweden : JWW-03 SU(u)CH Trollängens Smile Is In The Air owned by Anette Erlandsson, Kennel Trollängens is visiting us in Aia. We are grateful his owner to give us the option to have at home this wonderful dog.

Dortmund International Dog Show, Spaniels specialty. Judge Hr. Studenik, CZ
Early Bird won his class and was second best bitch. Her father won his class and took the CAC. Luna was second in Young Class and  Fanny was shown in Honour Class being first.

Dortmund 16.10, judge Jessie Borregaard-Madsen aus Dänemark (Kennel  Sieger's) with 46 Springers in ring.
Fanny & Luna had not their best day taking Fanny VG second and Luna VG. Humphrey was Exc 3º in a strong Champion Class and his daugther Early Bird won her class and was third best bitch.

When a partner for years leaves something important disappears from your life, but when sudenly you loose a friend as young and without waiting the sadness invades completely and it's as big.

Unfortunatelly she is not pregnant and we don't wait puppies from her this time.

Rommel finnish his Spanish Championship in Pamplona
over his halfsister Dugy he was Best Of Breed and having got in 7 months 3 national championships.
I give back the black-boy to Jupp hands and the hunting, for the moment he won't come back to the rings. He saied bye with a great winning: with Dugy they were Reserve of Best Couple Of the Show

On 3th of September it was in Luxembourg one International Dog Show with more than 3000 dogs, one of the biggest in the calendar.
The 25 Springers were judged by G. Beccecchi (I) with lot of kindness and courtesy. We went with 4 of our dogs and we met to  Evergreen, Dugy's sister. Also our friends Antonio y Teresa from kennel Sao Barao traveled with us and with the little Humphreys Son & Eileen.
Rommel finnished without problems his Luxembourg Championship winning to his rivals, so he adds now two Championship tittles to his two Trialers. Dugy took the reserve after a nice german bitch and the surprise came from our little Fatamorgana. With 5 bitches her class, beeing with only 10 months the youngest and after a long walk he proclaimed Luxembourg Young Champion

As in the last years we went to the Spaniel Club Dog Show in Estoril (Portugal).
A judge, Svend Lovenkjaer (DK) who bred and has had one of the best Springers in the last years had a big entry for Portugal: 15 dogs come from Spain, France and of course Portugal.
Best Puppy of Breed and Reserve of Best Puppy in Show was Boo Derek de Sao Barao. Best Young of Breed was Flower Girl De Los Tres Robles. It's a pitty that the Portuguese Spaniel Club doesn't have finals for the young classes in its Club Show when in the International Dog Shows there are it .
The valuables obligatory CACs for the Portuguese Championship went to my two blacks: Dugy and Rommel. With this CAC Rommel finnished his Portuguese Championship with two obligatory points given. The Humphrey's was BOB and 5th Best Spaniel of the Club Show. The couple Dugy and Rommel were also BEST COUPLE OF THE SHOW repeting the winning of Terry y Hum in last year.

29 & 30.07.2005
That weekend we went to the Sintra National & International Dog Shows with specialist judges both days. We showed 5 dogs.
On Saturday and judging Frank Kane (GB), Humphrey was Best of Breed from Champion Class and Rommel got the CAC. Luna in her first exit in young class got a very good raport and she was Best Young.  Our girl Dugy  won her first CAC from intermediate class. During the finals Rommel & Dugy in couple class were BEST COUPLE OF THE SHOW doing again at the International's on Sunday.
On Sunday the judge wasVan Den Berg (NL) giving long raports and having lot of time with each dog. The results were the same than on Saturday but we showed also Terry in champion class and with this CACIB got she finnished her INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION and she was also Best of Breed. She is our fourth International Champion and we are really proud of her, with 27 months old she has three national championships and trialers in two countries and now also her International's one. After these results now we will do her a very special litter.
We had a great weekend where Luna met her mother. The likeness is, as you can see in the picture, amazing.

Portugalete International Dog Show
As every year the Portugalete's Dog Show is sure in our calender. Also this year we had for the Spaniels a specialist judge :  Mrs. Wild (Switzerland). The results were good and we had a very nice day with friends who helped us to show our 5 dogs we had.
In Puppy Class: the sisters Luna & Molly, giving the first place the judge to Molly who moved better that day. Humphrey & Rommel competed for the CAC/CACIB getting it Humphrey and also the Best of Breed. What an ilussion see one of our dogs in the podiums and this time Dugy gave us this ilussion being Best Young and RESERVE of Best Young in Show after a great spanish greyhound.
From here our congrats to Javier De La Torre and his breeder Juan Membrado by the young Corralet Bolero who won from the Young Class the BOB and Second in Group 8.

 Lisbon International Dog Show 2005
We went to Lisbon (Portugal) with three blacks , obligatory point for the Portuguese Championship. As always it's a pleasure go to Portugal, also we can have the chance to see some portuguese kids of our  Humphrey.
The Springers were judged by Mr. Cabral (P). Few dogs entried. We got with Rommel the CAC obligatory winning also Best Of Breed. Dugy was Best Young so she has been Best Young in three differents countries getting also three qualifications for  Crufts. Chipy was Reserve CAC/CACIB

The hip's results valuated by Dr V Richter in Germany have arrived:
Early Bird De Los Tres Robles is HD A1 Free (with two Hum's daugther from his first litter examinated we cannot be more than satisfied with the results)

We received news from Evergreen De Los Tres Robles.
Her HD result is  free. She is the first Humphrey's to be radiografiated. We want to thanks her owners for doing this proof to their bitch. It's important to have the most  of the dogs controled, to help us to bred dogs without diseases under we can control only what we have at home.

On 12th we went to the obligatory point for the French Kennel Club in Lyon.
After our trip around Europe we shown our dogs to Terry Thorn (GB). With near 40 dogs entered there were more dogs than the European Dog Show but the quality was not comparable.
Early Bird was Best Young of Breed & Boo Derek took the Reserve of the valuable CAC. Cassius Clay was Exc 3º

On Sunday 5th in St. Poelten was made the Austrian Club Show with 22 Springers judged by Lazlo Erdoes (Hungary).
The Best Of Breed was the only dog who was not the day before at the Eurodog Show, unfortunatelly he was not shown in the  BIS final, that have not any dog from our breed, a shame!.  BOS, Best Of Opposite Sex, was Boo Derek De Los Tres Robles obtaining her second CACA in one weekend. Rommel got a valuable VG 3 & Early Bird was Exc 4ª.
In couple class the both blacks were second best couple, the same result that with the breeding group by  Early Bird, Barbarella & Cassius Clay.

On 4th there was in Tulln (Austria) the Eurodog Show.
The 33 springers were judged by Rainer Vuorinen with lot of kindness with dogs and handlers. The option to compete and see dogs from Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy and of course from Germany and Austria it is not possible to have usually, only in these events

Madrid International Dog Show
On Saturday 21th there was the Madrid's Dog Show
The Springers were judged by C. Mosquera, specialist judge, and the group by F. Kane.
With 14 dogs in catalog our Rommel got win to the champions from working class and was CAC-CACIB and Best Dog. But the surprise was given by Early Bird winning with 13 months old Best Of Breed.
During the afternoon Fatamorgana was second best puppy in group 8

Dortmund International Dog Show.
On Saturday 7th there was the Dortmund Dog Show.
We went with 3 of our dogs, Hum & Terry won their classes, Rommel got an Exc 2º.
We are very happy with these results, with almost 29 Springers in catalog and more than 10.000 entries is much bigger that we are used to see in Spain

The first of May we went as every year to the San Sebastian International Dog Show
The 8th group was judged by Jarosmir Dostal .
There were 9 Springers in rin being Terry CAC-CACIB-BOS & Rommel CAC-CACIB- BOB. This is the first Best Of Breed for our little black boy but we have the impression it will be not the last one. Our puppies girls Fatamorgana & Flower Girl did their debut and they got the highest qualification
In the nice picture taken by our friend J.M. Iturralde,  Rommel y Early Bird were Reserve of BIS brace.
The day finnished with a third place with the breeding group of De Los Tres Robles
As always a great dog show in a nice place with big and carpeted rin where the Springers could move really well

Luxembourg International Dog Show.
The 21 Springer were judged by Mr. Catalan (P). Humphrey & Terry won their classes finnishing in this way their Luxembourg Championship. Both brothers collect three beauty's championships with less than two years old.

Hexe's babies are born, there are three boys and one girl. This is the first litter in our new home.

We went to Valladolid to the Club Show and a National and an International Dog Shows .
The three shows were very wonderfully judged by E.Mjede the Club Show and L Cartledge & A Koroza the other two.
Humphrey & Terry with these dog shows finnish their Spanish Championship (ph). Both are two beauty championships with less than 2 years old
Rommel got his first CAC & Exc beeing won by Humphrey in the other two dog shows.

Terry won two CACs and one CACIB this weekend.
In Young Class, the Humphrey & Kiara daugther, Early Bird, was Best Young springer in the three shows and got the Reserve of BIS Young in the Club Show.

Cassius Clay come back home.
We are very proud of his first hunt's season in France with two reserve of CACT and some qualifications between the first places. This young boy has proved that it's not  lacking to forgot the standart to be a good hunt's dog.
Thanks to P.Dalle for the great introduction of our little black boy.

In the caserio Zulaika  we have the ideal conditions to follow breeding and working with our dogs. Lot of ground to run and improved equipment for the dogs.
